Booked last minute for Mother’s Day weekend as we were itching to camp in new travel trailer. Two spots left and got a real nice back in site on access road to rear entrance. Full place, lots of activities, was good for kids and dog friendly. Nice place!

This was the first campground my wife and I stayed at as we began our one-year trek around the US. We stayed only a single night and it was October 25, 2018, so it was pretty dead. The grounds seemed very well maintained, there was a cute little pond with beach access that I imagine is great in the summer, and the staff on site (Clem) was very friendly. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because the campground is not in the most ideally situated spot for RVers as there are a lot of hills and tight turns to get to the grounds. Maybe it was being new to pulling the fifth wheel but there are some pretty steep grades (9-10%) around so just be careful. All back-in sites.

Great place to stay with a family. Fun for all! Dark skies and quiet! Very nice and welcoming staff. Clean facilities. A bit off the normal path but easy to get to. No low overheads coming in from I84.
