Friendly manager, very nice and professional. The place is overpriced especially for small rig that uses 30 amp rig and very little electricity, water and sewer. They had sprayed poison all over the 鈥済rass鈥 dandylions so it was impossible to avoid bringing poison into your camper.

We have stayed at Silver Summit RV Park many times over the past 20 years. It has been operated by the same owner who is alway pleasant and helpful. The park is so handy for visiting historic Silverton. You can easily walk to the town shopping areas. From your motorhome, you can watch the Durango-Silverton narrow gauge trains arrive and depart each day. You can also rent a Jeep here and explore all the great jeep roads throughout the area. Highlights over the years have been clouds at street level, beautiful mountain sunsets and this past June 9th, 4-5" of snow when we woke up in the morning. What's not to love.

Clean park with full hookups. Gravel sites but they are trying to grow grass in between sites, unlike other local parks. Friendly managers. Expensive for what it is but basically a supply and demand situation in a very pretty area with a very short season.

09/2017. Nice park. Under $27 with PaAm, one night only. Showers, full hookups. On edge of town. Bit of a walk to downtown. Would stay here again. Gorgeous views. Aspen turning color this time of year.

Wow this place is great! The staff was super generous with their time, helping find a loaner part for our small problem with our hookups. Could not ask for nicer people. The park itself is a very easy walk to the heart of Silverton, without the usually urban park feel, being such a great small town.
The pubs are particularly worth the walk, with top notch food as well. We ate at Golden Block Brewery and loved their "Maggie" hot sandwich - mozzarella, spinach, basil, prosciutto and pesto. Met the local brewer and his excellent line up of beers. He's in real danger of being hired by a microbrewery of his work is discovered. Excellent beers with creative twists from his 7 bbl system. Worth the short walk.
As with most park Wifi, don't depend on it. This one keeps knocking us off the network even with a booster. Cellular coverage is good, though. Tmobile gets -90 db LTE, AT&T gets 2 bars 4G, and Verizon has -68db LTE. The park is tight but well maintained, and does not have an urban parking lot feel - there is plenty of healthy grass between lots.
