Beautiful campground with scenic views. Well located with easy access to MTB trails and bike path. Unfortunately, there is no showers.

Excellent forest lands dry campground. Several sites overlooking Lake Dillon. Campground situated at 9100 feet surrounded by mountains rising to 13,000 feet. Superb hiking around lake and nearby. Situated next to town of Frisco which is a summer time tourist Mecca. Free concerts in area, camp hosts and rangers very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.no dump stations on site but two available nearby.

Great campground! Many sites were reserved but many chose to stay away because of fires although we never saw any smoke. We were there on July 14, 2016 and there were only a handful of campers there. It was very quiet and the campsites are adequately spaced. The camp host was very friendly and helpful. Overnight, a couple of full size vans camped near us but no problems. Would definitely camp there again.
