Back in spaces and a couple pull-through spaces. Clean with easy access to the reservoir. Shower water was hot, bathrooms were nearly immaculate for a state park campground. All around one of the best camping experiences we’ve had in a state park. Make sure you get a reservation before heading out there, even if for the night of, because there is no cell or wi-fi reception for about 10 miles. Park attendants staff visitor office from around 8-5 daily, and they can also set up a reservation (they will work with you on staying multiple nights, but you might have to switch sites each night if you don’t reserve ahead of time).

2016/02/27-28 Site 64, 41 ft fifth wheel, f-350 & suv all fit easily in large pull through site. 50 amp service was nice. Used fire pit and picnic table for lunch, was very nice. Cedar and Cottonwood open in winter, dump site is nice, easy access with fresh water fill (water in summer only at dump site). One fresh water fill station is open during the winter in Cottonwood near restrooms. Absolutely spectacular views and a very well kept campground. Host was friendly, he was the only other person camping in his fifth wheel when we were there. Had fun walking out on the ice, lots of ice fishing here during winter. Be sure to visit Rifle Falls just East of the campgrounds. Can't wait to come back here! Even with a cell boost antenna, Verizon was usable but speeds were not great. No sprint service.
