We stayed 3 nights at PA rates. $62.23 with tax for 3 nights. We explored the rock art, the Rangely Tour, and Dinosaurs. Interior roads and sites are dusty gravel. The RV camp is flanked by industrial oil field and a dumpster company. Each afternoon, the wind whipped up a dust storm coming from the unpaved industrial areas. Motorhome was covered in dust inside the water heater, the slide mechanism, the window frames.
Laundry was clean, garbage cans overflowing, office staff was polite and helped with brochures for local tours, picnic tables are just ok, sites face southwest so your awning is on the west side which makes for a very hot (July) place to sit. Your picnic table is adjacent to your neighbors sewer hose. There is no shade. Park WiFi worked well, but who cares when you have your own cellular plan.
We looked at the city park in Rangely. City park sites have more space. Full shade. $20 per night. W, E and Dump station. I would prefer the city park.

Clean, quiet. you will need satellite tv. WiFi is weak but serviceable. we stayed a week, cost just over $200. tour dinosaur and canyon Pintado. there is lots here to see if you look for it. Golf course is close by. nice $18 for 9 holes including a cart. locals are very friendly.

Very nice owner and spotless bathrooms and laundry
Just away enough from the road to be quiet
Level gravel pull through
Even trees out here in the high plains
Great place to spend a night

Desolate town, park in industrial area out of town. Internet did not work, no tv service. Clean showers. Good for overnight stop if you can't get to Vernal, Utah.

It's a place to spend the night, if you've made it to Rangely and care to go no further. Typical gravel parking lot, poor WiFi, flanked by oilfield warehouses. Clean, and governed to control bad manners. The only good exposure/ views are reserved for tent sites, which were empty.
