This is an old RV park for permanent residents with only a few sites for travelers. The park is not pretty, but it's ok in a pinch. The big problem was that management required a money order for payment. They don't take cash, checks, debit, or credit cards. They will not allow you to park the rig and run into Parachute to get the money order. You must arrive with it in hand. I stopped at the Green River post office to buy it, coming in from the west. After providing the money order, you will be given a site number and instructions to confirm that the site is level enough and the utilities work. My site was mostly level, and the electric pedestal worked. I did not use the water or sewer connections. I did use the laundry room, and it was nice. Call ahead to confirm availability. I won't return.

Even the rats have moved out of this run down RV park. It could be a beautiful park but it's just a dump now. Don't even stop!

Sad; What has happened to this park. It is a work camp. No staff around and the showers, restrooms and laundry are locked.
Place is in serious need of maintenance and updating.
Seems a pretty low priority with Battlement Mesa Mngt.
