Gravel parking lot with sites VERY close. They did have a table and the water etc all worked fine. Nice view of the dunes. Decent little store at the office. Also a restaurant but we didn’t use it. It was a bit pricey but you are paying for the proximity to the National Park which was great

Just minutes out side the park. Parking on gravel but the sites were flat. We were in site 1 and had an incredible view of the dunes. If you can get into the first 4 or 5 spots you get an unobstructed view. Was able to stream Netflix on T Mobile using my hotspot. Would definitely come back.

Excellent stay to visit Great Sand Dunes NP. RV sites are close but do have great views if your neighbors don’t block it! We were in site 7. If you can, get site 1 for RVing. If you are tenting there are many wonderful spots to choose. While we were there COVID was still a problem in September 2021 and they are very compliant with CDC guidelines. This was very good for us! We rented sand boards and tried them on the dunes. Felt cost was not too expensive. If you need to do your laundry you cannot do that here. It was okay for me since I have a washer/dryer. Would stay again if we come back!

I will admit the sites are kinda tight, but the views are awesome! I liked the staff, the lady who was taking reservations and dealing with the public was funny! Restaurant was good too! Had a good burger:) as for cost, $38 bucks a night ain’t worth five $ signs! We enjoyed our stay and would come back!

RV spots are narrow and VERY close together. Quite a bit of $$ for something that's not full hook up and no internet. If you don't need power check out the nearby NP or SP...you'll enjoy your stay much more. Employees were polite to us...but I wouldn't stay there again.
