We stayed 2 nights and loved this park. We will definitely be back. Nice quiet park and so much to see and do nearby.

Campground is really nice, with amazing views. The bike path is wide enough for cyclists to pass pedestrians, and it connects seamlessly to the City of Loveland trail system on the south end, making for lots of options. The half- moon shaped pull-through were tough for us in a 45ft Motorhome, after some maneuvering all worked out. Be sure to come with water tank full and black/gray tanks empty unless you like dumping in the middle of your stay. One note, the park passes $8 per day are not included in the camping fees, driving the overall cost up but still cheap.

Excellent stop. Nice views of the lake or mountains if you plan accordingly. Nice laundry rooms ($1.75 to wash, $1.25 to dry). Yes, you have to pay for shower but it keeps the showers clean & there are no lines ($0.75 for 3 min, 0.25 for each additional min. I recommend $1.00, an extra quarter & a timer.). There is electric but no water or sewer at each spot. There are water spigots if you plan your spot accordingly. Park Rangers actively patrol the campgrounds. We stayed the full 2 weeks with our Class A motorhome. Check out our blog for pics & more detailed maps: http:// planesboatsandbicycles.blogspot com

Have stayed here on 3 different occasions now. The park is growing on me. While we have kayaks the lake isn't good for us due to all the power boats but the bike path is awesome. Love the half moon sites; makes for easy pull in & set up.
