Stayed in site 32. Beautiful short walk to Turquoise Lake. Can see the lake through the trees.

One of a number of excellent Forest Service campgrounds on the eastern shore of Turquoise Lake. No power, but water is available and there is a dump station near Printer Boy campground (costs extra $10). Beautiful setting among the trees by the lake. Sites are spaced far apart, nice for privacy. Wonderful campground.

Great forest service campground and is just one of many FS campgrounds around Turquoise Lake. No electric or hookups. Vault toilet facilities and water spigots at different points around the campground. Also quiet time begins at 10 pm so if you have a camper/RV with generator, that will need to be turned off. There's a trail along Turquoise lake that's good for a walk but too many stones/sand/roots to be good for a stroller or people with mobility issues. There are boat launch facilities further around the lake. There is a 50% discount for those who have the national parks senior pass. My car GPS did not have this campground/road listed so take along a map printout to ensure you find it easily.

Beautiful setting nestled in the trees, feet from a gorgeous lake and views of snow covered mountains. There's a nice sandy path around the lake for walking or bikes. There was even a sandy beach of sorts. The bathroom is primitively but very clean. Looking forward to returning.

Nice big sites in a pretty area. A bit narrow coming in but made it fine with a towable.
