Great little park. New owners are just as great as previous owners. Immaculate facilities, wonderful caring people. Convenient walkable distance to La Veta. Very enjoyable stay.

We needed to wait for the Midwest heat to break for a couple of days in mid-June. Circle the Wagons campground was refreshing. Very clean and well maintained. Camp host, Gene, and his wife, were very helpful. Bathrooms were spotless, great game room with foosball, puzzles and DVDs. The neighboring property dogs were barky but the Cucharas River on the property edge made us overlook the noise.

This is by far the nicest and cleanest park in the area. Their WIFI works great so they get bonus points. They have flat sites and shade which are bonus points. It is neat clean and well maintained. One little thing that could have been a BIG thing is they put me on a 30-amp site instead of a 50-amp site. I discussed this with the office and they moved me to a 50-amp site so all was well. My advice would be to make sure they put you on a 50-amp site if you are a 50-amp rig.

Clean, well maintained and helpful staff. Great game room, close to town and nice sites with trees and shade. The reason it’s not getting a 5 star is they don’t monitor their dog policy about barking dogs or the 6 foot leash law. campers didn’t put leashes on dogs and we had one rv that both dogs barked for hours at a time. We won’t be back due to this. Was one of the worst campgrounds we’ve been in for years.

Great park. Easy to get into and the greeting from the owners when you arrive is awesome. Easy spots to get into and they are level. Quiet campground that is clearly well managed and taken care of. Close to Main Street in town with stores, shops and museums. Would return gladly. Two night stay on our way to Lake City.

Absolutely wonderful from stem to stern. Parked by the rushing river, cheerful birds and friendly staff. Great bathroom/shower facility, laundry and an outdoor Scrabble game. Lots to see and do in the area. Beautiful location. Will definitely stay again.

Stayed two nights passing through going West. Denny and J appear to still be working hard the place is well kept with plenty of room to maneuver most any size rig. Be sure to stock up on provisions before arriving since the only grocer in town is pricey. Big R is a good place to shop most any other needs with very helpful and friendly people.

Circle the Wagons RV park has become our home away from home this year due to a couple of business deals the area. No matter how full they were (and they are ALWAYS full...), J and Denny always got us in through a cancellation. The park is simply gorgeous... we often were given a slip on the little river, and it was a delight to open the windows at night and go to sleep listening to it. They keep the bath house/laundry/game room immaculate, the fire ring at night is so wonderful under the stars... What more can I say? It's the best we've ever visited - no matter how high-dollar the resort! It's SO NICE to see that customer service is NOT a thing of the past in La Veta Colorado!!!! Enjoy the park - BUT BOOK EARLY. Talked to many who hadn't booked last year for THIS year and couldn't get in!

Clean, well maintained and off the main road so quiet. Very friendly and helpful staff (owners). This is by far the nicest in the area. Would stay here again!
