One of our best stops. We are not off roaders and this is off road central. Nevertheless this was the most friendly park and town we’ve been through (and we’ve been to a lot). We travel with dogs and the whole town was dog friendly. They have a groomed trail along the creek and the town itself is fun to walk in. The sites are tight but the facilities are excellent. We will be back.

Linda and Allan are such amazing hosts. The facilities were immaculate. Everyone we met on the grounds were so friendly. We have 4 small kids and many of the folks didn’t have kids but were so engaging with our little ones too. The location to the city was perfect. Thank you Elkhorn! We will return.

Have stayed here 4 times over the past 8 years last time Sept 2018. Never disappointed. They now rent Side by Sides, their daily prices matched 2 others I checked and beat the others if you rented for 2 or more days.

Very well maintained rv park. Pretty tight spaces but enough room to put out slide and awning. New owners since 2 years ago and they are very friendly. A lot of seasonals that have been coming here for years. Free coffee in the am and impeccably clean rest rooms/showers and laundry. Nice communal fire pit with free wood. Great wifi signal but bandwidth overloaded/painfully slow so we used our att which was 5 bar 3G and was able to stream Netflix. Away from the main road so it was peacefully quite and walkable to the bars/ restaurants. Bring mosquito spray.

we like this place very much. We like the Highlander very much too, but Ellhorn is right in town. The owners of both places are all very nice
