We reserved a water/electric site just a few hours before arrival without a problem (late September). The site was spacious, clean, and very much in line with the scenery of the area. The staff were super friendly, there are horses in several penned in areas around the park - which were beautiful to watch & visit. We did the 1 hour horseback riding and got great history of the area (including the 2020 forest fire that affected the area). It was nice and quiet at night, very peaceful. WiFi was spotty during high usage times, but it did work - no different than most campgrounds. We will definitely come back to this campsite again when we visit the area in the future.

BEWARE of the shady refund policy at this campground . We had booked a week in July then decided the day AFTER reserving a site we opted to wait on visiting the area since the area was affected by a wildfire in 2020. The cancellation policy is absolutely the worst we have encountered in three years of full time travel . They kept $85 of our deposit and apparently they are making money by ripping people off when they change their minds. They also want to collect the cost of your ENTIRE stay upfront and all we can say is find another place that actually welcomes and appreciates your business .

Very mixed feelings about this place. Many of the sites are well spaced out. Not the FHU sites in the back, I would not stay there. Many activities but I did not use. Staff is very helpful. My site was large, no shade, and only dirt and gravel for the outside area. They advertise WiFi but even the staff says it doesn’t work. I am tired of places advertising WiFi and then having unuseable WiFi. Also they claim they are strict on rules but there are dogs running loose throughout the park. They claim to enforce the quiet rule but they don’t

We enjoyed this rustic resort. Sites are gravel and naturalized. Varied site areas. The sites in the back are mostly gravel and closely spaced. Cabins are available. We were in electric/water site fairly close to office and horseback ride stables. Occasional smell. Many activities for kids. Toward the back is an ATV rental business. Lots of space for dog walking. RMNP very close with some trails within walking distance. Of note, a moose walked right in front of our MH one morning! No cell or WiFi.

Great stay over the weekend. Just me and the wife but looks like a great place for kids, horses and campers. Great water pressure, space between sites and great staff. Will definately come back to this park.

Calls for reservations a month ahead of time but when I got there all they had was individual sites and I had to move every day for four days. The roads were dusty and the sites were dusty and dirty. Not a happy camper.

Very nice and family friendly campground right at the Rocky Mtn Park entrance with lots to see and do. $50 an hour for horseback ride and $15 for a hayride but other things are free like: petting zoo, playground, etc. Our kids really enjoyed petting zoo and we also spotted a bull moose feeding right on the river behind the zoo. Very cool! A good place for the price and with the GS discount.

Quiet yet family friendly. Very clean bathrooms and showers. Some of the sites are tight, but not all...take a look around before you purchase a spot.
