I really wanted to like this campground but it fell short in several areas. We have found over the years that campgrounds with long-term residence typically fall short when it comes to upkeep and overall vibe of the campground. There were a lot more residence than we expected at a vacation destination campground. They are sites in particular were not well kept. The pavilions playgrounds putt putt all seemed like they had been neglected for a while. The laundry facility was nice we did not see or use the bath house or showers. However, the biggest downfall was the fact that the campground sits on a very steep hill! We were about halfway up the hill and quite a ways from laundry, which made it an insurmountable task. There were golf carts for rental, but they were $65 a day, more than Disney worlds. Campgrounds! That seemed way over priced! There seem to be a variety of activities going on, but our focus was in the national park and exploring Estes Park, unfortunately Estes Park does not have many nice campgrounds to choose from but it's still hard for me to recommend this one. If you're just looking for a home base, this will do but if you're like us and enjoy sitting around the fire at night in a peaceful setting, I would avoid this campground.

We’re a family with three kids under five. We stayed here for four nights and the kids absolutely loved it. There’s a big playground, a pool, an arcade, mini golf and a huge jump pad. The sites are pretty spacious and the park is nicely laid out. The showers and toilets are a bit old. They would benefit from one extra cleaning session during the day. The park is right on the road, so you’ll hear the traffic especially in the lower parts. Friendly staff.

Very nice. Lots of great amenities. It was expensive, though, but we really wanted the proximity to Rocky Mt. NP. And we only stayed one night because of our travel plans. It seems like a great place to pull in for a week and hang out.
