Beautiful campground. The access road is challenging芒鈧漵omewhat washboarded with a few switchbacks. The campsite fee plus daily use permit ($9) made it rather pricey. The larger loop seems to have more privacy than the small one. Very good water at the common spigot.

Beautiful dry camping location just outside of Estes Park. RV芒鈧劉s over 40 feet would have a hard time with the switch backs. For smaller rigs and camping, the sites are really private with lots of wildlife.

A great place to take the dog hiking since they're not allowed on the trails in RMNP.
Dry camping only but dump station at entrance plus drinking water.
Make reservations online at Larimer.org/naturalresources/campgrounds
There is also a $6 entrance fee which you must buy at the entrance. READ THE RULES AND REGULATIONS PARTICULARLY IF YOU HAVE A DOG or intend to launch or retrieve a hot air balloon.
