There were some shade trees but our spot had zero shade and temps were 92… plus we were right next to the road so in the morning or evening when it was cool enough to be outdoors, the road noise was crazy! The restroom shower area has cute rustic decor, but sadly the trash was not removed daily, floors dirty and spider living on the shower bench. The cabin area we walked by looked cute and was near the river.

The place has gone downhill a bit since the Rjourney Corporation bought it, but it's still one of our favorite places to go. Try to get a pond- or riverside site, but if it's quite warm, the sites on the Western end (13 and 14 at least) can be pretty odoriferous from the water treatment plant next door. The River Walk (very short) is well worth the time.

Excellent staff, well maintained facilities with nice wide flat sites.
I had 19 and the sunsets were spectacular.

We've stayed here before and liked it, but we won't be back. Since Rjourney purchased it, this cg has gone straight downhill. There was no maintenance done, grass was uncut so the bugs were awful due to the ponds, the wifi was non-existent, and the (male) staff was very rude. No wonder that even though we filled 24 sites, the place was only half filled. We were there 5 days, so our experience wasn't a fluke. Unless you have to stay here, keep driving. It's sad to see a nice family-owned campground be ruined by a corporation.

Super clean and relaxing campsite with access to great outdoor activities. The campsite is on the river and the walks are amazing. Bring your four legged friends, they will love it. Plenty of activities for the kids. It’s obvious that the family that owns this park takes great pride in the service they provide and the happiness of their customers is forefront. Every staff person we spoke with was very kind and friendly. We stayed in a smaller pull through which didn’t have much shade but we also booked last minute and they were super accommodating. It was one of two RV sites that didn’t have shade, but it was perfectly fine. We have annoyed our stay and we will most certainly be coming back.

Restroom and laundry is over the top, very clean looks like they are newly remodeled. Camp sites are gravel so are inside roads. The whole campgrounds are well kept and clean. Large sites and lots of over flow parking. Walking path in side park, river walk, fishing lakes, WiFi is fair, T-Mobile so so at the most two bars, Verizon so so two bars. Cell service comes and goes. Gift shop well stocked, propane sold on site. What a treasure. So many RV parks need so mooch help. This one is a good one

Beautiful park on the river. Stayed in a tent site in my van. Park-like surroundings, clean new bathhouse. Would stay here again for longer!

Wonderful park. Owners are very accomodating. Sites are neat and clean. Spacing is good. Verizon is weak but works. Wi-Fi is okay. The owners hold activities for the campers. We drove in on pizza night. I know for sure they have a large commnity campfire with several attending. Lots of shade. Night lighting is nice. Rates are good. We will definitely be back. Very nice and well run park. Shaded Gravel or concrete sites. Our site had low voltage at peak times since it was high 80’s or 90 degree temperatures but they sent an electrician to fix it. Cell service was almost nonexistent here and their internet is not sufficient for this size park but otherwise if you want to unplug it’s a great place.
