Enjoyed staying here for 3 nights. Stayed in a site on the terrace. Roomy and nice place to sit outside. Will come back and stay longer. Many things to do in the area.

Beautiful surrounds, large gravel sites, Full hookups, WiFi slow, great hiking trail up a small mountain/hill where you can see for miles. Hwy 115 has construction being an election year. Near a quarry with lots of gravel trucks passing by on the entrance road weekdays; If noise an issue, request a site as far from the road as possible. We kept the fan running which helped mute some of the traffic. Hosts very accommodating and park is maintained well. Great for short stays and within a 30-40 minute drive into Canon City and Colorado Springs.

Really enjoyed our stay of 7 days here. Used it for base camp, Pikes Peak, Manitou Springs , Royal Gorge and Colorado Springs. A little farther out, but that gets you a large level site in the mountains and trees. Very quiet. Bathrooms and laundry were very clean. We would definitely come back.

We enjoyed a 2-day stay at Mountaindale. Our campsite was close to perfect. It was level, roomy, and separated from other sites. The grounds are well-kept and staff are visible as they tend the flower beds and common areas. As mentioned on their website, deer and wild turkey roam the area early in the morning so take your phone along on walks to capture some nature shots. We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and the friendly atmosphere at Mountaindale. We would camp here again!

We were lucky enough to find a spot available for our last night in Colorado. Beautiful campground. Well maintained with level sites. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. However, the description on ¿ìÈýƽ̨ should be updated. Cable TV is not available. Was not a huge issue as WiFi was good and we were able to do some streaming.

Within an hour of arriving, I felt like I was camping with my best friends. David was so kind and helpful. The grounds were beautiful--flowers and tall Pine trees. We sat in our site and looked at a mountain in front of us while enjoying watching the hummingbirds flitting around flowers and deer walking around the grounds. The bathrooms and laundry room were spotless. The food at the newly opened cafe run by Daniel and his wife was yummy and he was so accommodating when my elderly Aunt and Uncle came for a visit. We absolutely LOVED our stay and would highly recommend it to everyone!

Excellent campground- between the views, friendly and helpful staff, and spacious sites, we found a new favorite for stopovers without road noise and sardine feel that is increasingly common in campgrounds. The facilities are well maintained and other campers very friendly. As an added bonus, it’s between 2 wildlife reserves so flora/fauna is perfect for relaxing

We were just getting started on our Fulltime adventuring, and this place came recommended. Sites are pretty good size, and instead of one size fits all, they are varied making it much nicer to walk around in with winding trails. Easy access to some trails. Wildlife abounds here, and the deer even came up and sniffed us on occasion. Extremely quiet campground, good Wifi with towers situated around the park to keep it good. Cell phone signal is spotty, but set your phone to wifi calling and it works great. Bathrooms were very clean, and except for the smaller size and lack of heat they were awesome! I think they watch them and go and clean every time someone uses the bathroom/shower, they are that clean! Staff are friendly, and with three dogs they were extremely accommodating. They have a small dog park that was of adequate size for all three of our dogs. There are a lot of full time residents, so the park does have a somewhat lived in quality and feel with all the different skirting and fencing that you see. The people are friendly, welcoming and quiet. The park does use WhatsApp for business that is pretty great. If you are looking for an out of the way park with large sites and great atmosphere this is a great choice.

My family and I wanted to stay at this park, so I called and made tentative reservations, and then sent in our applications (they run credit and criminal background checks on anyone staying a month or longer, which is fine by me, as we have two little girls). Our reservations weren’t confirmed but I figured no news is good news. The day before we were supposed to be arriving, I called since I hadn’t received so much as an email. The woman on the other end of the line had not heard of us and had no record of us having a reservation. They had to run our applications, and about an hour later I called back, hoping for an answer. They informed us that we were declined. I found this very interesting. Neither my husband nor I have any criminal background. My husband has excellent credit, and I would if it weren’t for having stage 4 cancer. Literally all the negative marks on my credit report are unpaid medical bills. I assume that everyone knows cancer is expensive by now, but anyhow, if you have some sort of affliction that has left you with six figures worth of medical bills, you aren’t welcome here.
