Stayed one night February. Electric only $31 kinda pricey. But the only RV there. Nice for the dogs. Propane ran most of the night so didn't hear I 70 but you can outside. Pretty cool place when there is no one else here.

Stayed in early July 2015 for 5 nights with full hookup at Island Acres. Good base of operations to visit the wineries in Palisade and/or Grand Mesa (trout fishing) and the Colorado Monument.

Downside is heavy traffic noise from I70 and north bank railroad. Noise from truck traffic usually woke us up before 0600. Additionally, tons of mosquitos which made sitting outside uncomfortable.

Nice state park. Near the interstate so you do get noise from that. It sits along the Colorado river so you have nice views. Paved roads in the park and your sites are gravel. They have pull through and back in sites. Sites have fire pits, picnic tables and about half of those are sheltered from the sun. Full hook ups and electric only. We stayed in site #10 which was electric only for 5 days because it was right on the river. We stayed in a 36 ft. fifthwheel.

Nice staff, but at times felt like a police state park. To many chiefs not enough Indians. Full hook-up's right next to i70 very loud.
