Very friendly and helpful staff. Bathrooms were immaculate. Showers were hot. But the road is very busy and noisy! I say book a site by the river and it might be quieter. Nice bike trail that runs into town is a plus.

This is a lesser KOA. There really are no amenities other than a very small, shallow pool. That was pretty cloudy and needed a good filtering to take out all the human skin and hair. If you can get one of the spots that backs up to the roaring Fork River, this is a worthwhile place to stay because the river is beautiful.

Nicest KOA we’ve ever stayed at, although we haven’t started at a lot of KOAs. We do a lot of dry camping. Well cared for grounds, staff nice and friendly, no sewer hookups at sites but water and electric at RV sites, and they have a dump station, rare for these parts. . Nice showers, bathrooms, laundry, pool. Have sauna, horseshoe pit, pet area. Along the Crystal River. Have RV sites, tent sites, and cabins. We’d come again if we’re in the area.

Nice campground in beautiful area. Campgrounds in these parts are hard to come by. If you go, book early- they are a popular spot.

No offense, but may be 5 stars if you are in a tent, but for a large rig NO. First the good, only thing in the area, Very nice along the river and park fairly quite. The bad, all DIRT drive ways and sites, very little grass anywhere. Does have concrete pads for picnic Tables at your site. Internet is week and very slow, hard to stay connected, no sewer hookup at site. They do have a dump site But no sewer hookup at your site. Sites are fairly close together, but ok. No cell service at all. Would look elsewhere if I could. We stayed September 2020. In a 40+ foot class A.

We tent camped for 5 nights and absolutely loved the accommodations that we had along side the Crystal river. The showers were clean, they have a very nice dog park and the entire site is well kept. We used the campground as our base for exploring Marble, Glenwood Springs, Carbondale, and other cities in the surrounding area. We will definitely be going back, but the next time will be in our new fifth wheel. Every one of the staff that we encountered were extremely pleasant and made you feel at home.

Riverside site with Mt. Sopris view was amazing! Park was quiet but had lots of dogs (no issue for us). Dog area was great. Showers awesome. Would go back again.

Riverside sites are beautiful and spacious, with large concrete patios and patio furniture. Some highway noise. Nice lounge and laundry facility. Friendly and helpful staff.

Would definitely stay there again. New concrete patios, new patio tables and chairs, very clean, very friendly. Only downside was poor cell and wifi.
