Great stop on my way to Baja. Office staff was friendly, the grounds are meticulously groomed, the laundry room was spotless and the prices are terrific. I’ll stop here again!

We stayed at Pilot Knob for six nights in December 2020 in our 41’ Grand Design Solitude as a break from boondocking nearby and to do laundry and receive some packages. Check-in was simple, the staff was extra-friendly, and the park was clean and nicely landscaped. The laundry had relatively new equipment, including an iron and ironing board. We paid $40/night for a pull-through site with full hookups and 50-amp electric service. The park is located right off I-8 just outside of Yuma, AZ. We would definitely stay there again.

Staying for the winter. Park only open from Nov 1 to April 30. Price includes electricity. Sites level and spacious, most with cement pad. Management and staff doing a great job of maintaining and upgrading the park. Plenty of things to do: pool & hot tub, billiards, Bocce ball, plenty of park resident led activities Cribbage, Pachinko, poker, Bingo etc.. Sites at the rear of park very large for those with trailers, boats or ATVs. These are also away from the only detraction which is the traffic and train noise at the North end. Over time you get used to it and don't even hear it anymore. Great Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners and weekly Burger/dog night, Sat morning biscuits and gravy and Sun Ice Cream social. Close to Yuma with plenty of shopping, dining and entertainment options. Hiking in the desert, kayaking on Lake Mitry. Cibola WL Refuge has Sandhill Cranes, Burrowing Owls, Harrier Hawks, coyote and road runners.
