If I could give zero stars I would... We were excited to drive up to this camp sight all to be very disappointed. At first glance this was a parents' dream come true petting zoo, water park, pool etc. The manager lady seemed to have a past with meth and seemed anxious. She wanted to inspect our mixed breed black dog and decided that it resembled a Rottweiler and therefore we weren't able to stay. We had to leave the property with a tearful devastated little girl. As we were turning around to leave we noted manure in the mini dokey pin and that many of the structures were in disrepair and needing paint. We left a lovely campground in the redwoods to stay here because of the stellar reviews. We frequent KOAs and have never had a problem with our dog. She's eight years old and grating around her eyes and muzzle. On ¿ìÈýƽ̨ it reads that there are extra rules for dog, which is common. It fails to say, the manager will come out to your vehicle to inspect your animal and if it shares a color with a forbidden breed, you will be turned away.

This is one of the nicest KOAs we have seen. It has absolutely something for everyone, from the pool to the hot tub to the petting zoo, to disc gold and hiking. The store employees were extra nice and pleasant to deal with.

I loved this place, but probably wouldn't if we were there in high season when kids were out of school. Oh, to be a kid again....this campground would be heaven. Tons to do.
But back to old folk land. Being mid-Sep, there was only a few campers in RVs. We had plenty of room for our travel trailer, but the big motor home rigs were a bit challenged getting in/out, altho they made out OK.
Get hook-ups, quiet, friendly staff. I'd return if ever back this way. I recommend it to anyone, & if you have kids, do stay there.
It would be interesting to read a review by someone who stayed there in the summer.
