I will start by saying way over priced at $117.22 a night and if the owner responds I don't care if it is in line with other RV parks. Then you are all over priced so be a leader and be the first to be resonable. The park looks well landscaped but the utility hookups are in the middle. Every two sites have the hookups in the middle causing you to be very close to your neighbor. It's in a good location. Wifi seamed to be ok, good restrooms and showers if needed, nice pet area for large and small dogs. My site was way out of level, I think it was a former park model location. Took my whole bag of blocks for my hydraulic leveling system. It was probably the worst in the park to be fair. expected luxury for the price. Won't be back.

At first I didn’t think much of the park. But then I found the dog park area. My dog loved it therefore we loved it. It’s also close to Truckee and a lot of things to do.

Ok, Bottom line up front did not stay at this place but felt compelled to write a review.
Made the reservations a couple weeks before hand, and the weather is coming in Sat (over 3 feet of snow predicted) when we planned to arrive.
Called the place and told them we were cancelling becasue of the weather and the clerk told us since we were cancelling within 30-days we would not get a refund. When I complained and stated that they made $280 off of us for nothing she became very rude, claimed that they were not stealing anything from us, told us that its my responsibility to watch the weather and hung up on me.
Now, rudeness aside. When a site takes the full amount upfront on a reservation, and refuses to give a refund it feels a lot like theft to us. We understand that it is in practice at a lot of sites, and that is their policy, but it IS unethical. We gave them over 48 hours notice. We think it would be ok if they charged for one night, but the entire amount? It made my blood boil and really triggered my BS meter.
We have stayed at many sites that took the entire amount up front, but then if we cancelled they would refund all except for one day.
Anyway, Lesson learned. I will never stay at Coachland RV resort, I will tell everyone I know to avoid the place, and put reviews on every site I can. And, in the future, I will NOT be staying at sites that charge the full amount up front and do not refund. If that is their practice, they have seriously lost my business forever.
We, as a group, will have to make the industry change this practice, and it can only work if we commit and force them to change. We as full timer RV'er should have the power to force the parks to change this practice simply by not patronizing them.

Stayed for three nights in space 123. Some sites look decent, with tiny grassy picnic areas. Ours, however, felt like a parking lot. No grass, no place for camp chairs, no fire pits, and our neighbor’s door (space 124) was about 10’ from ours. Oddly, our spaces faced each other, so a bit awkward as our picnic table was right next to thier door. Shower/baths are nice and big but no floor mats or any bath amenities. We won’t be back. Positives: convenient location, clean, full hookups at all sites, and there’s a grassy baseball field used as a dog park.

Site 9. Very tight with a 40' MH w/tow (57' space). We unhooked before attempting to squeeze into our site. Very large pine tree made for a challenging parking adventure as evidenced by the dented power pedestal. Rigs are parked front-to-back w/a shared picnic area. The park is clean, staff are friendly. We don't have pets or kids but they have accommodations for both (play area & pet area). Parked the pickup in the guest parking area. Stayed 1 night. We will stay here again.

Stayed in site 9. Paved level sites, shared grassy area between sites. Friendly staff, walking distance to old town Truckee. Jungle gym for the kiddos, very nice clean restrooms. No campfires. Close to freeway. Decent price $. Enjoyed our stay!

My first visit to an RV park so take with a grain of salt.
Really enjoyed this place. Location was very convenient. Appreciated the big pine trees and the facility is very clean and well maintained. It was very quiet - not sure if this is the normal in RV living? But, we often felt like the only people sitting outside of our RV. sites are kind of close together but I think that is pretty standard. Playground was nice touch for the kids.
