Great campground, saw deer, bear country so be on the lookout. Saw the biggest tree in the world about a 45 minute windy drive (22' max vehicle length) up from the campground. Important note! The dump station across from the campground is seasonal, and was closed while we were there in early February.

Very nice place. Dump is across the street. It’s tricky to get level but still doable. Don’t think of going further into the park with big rigs or trailers. This spot is perfect to go see the trees and still have town access. No Verizon signal but there’s plenty in Three Rivers.
The website is weird right now and it looks like the place is full but we basically had the place to ourselves during the week. Weekends it fills up.

Loved the campground even saw deer. Was only 18.00 dollars per night but 20.00 dollars for pass into park. Pass good for several days but this early in season not much open. Only stayed one night in late March 2013 but wish I could have stayed longer.
