Nice little park just outside Tehachapi surrounded by farms and a glider airport. The airplanes take off starting quite early and you're just a couple hundred feet from the runway so plane watchers will be happy here. Restrooms quite nice and clean, staff good. Internet about useless for anything except checking email, very very slow - which is surprising in this internet based culture. Lots of trees and our site had shade. Forget sleeping at night because the owners have a whole kennel with barking going on all night. No sewer but a good dump station. Would not stay here again due to the dogs, which is too bad because otherwise I'd give it 3.5 stars. $78 in 2025

Stayed one night on 5 sept and several dogs Barked all night long. Left the following morning and called the office later and the guy who Answered said that the dogs were his and he was the owner and he didn’t care what I had to say. What a jerk, he is ruining his own business.

Perfect little park for one night during our trip. No frills , but mature trees, quiet, a nice view and easy to get to. We were next to a glider runway and watched the planes in the morning. There was a huge beautiful hawk in the tree above us and a coyote in the field, so those with animals should be aware.

What a great find. We were looking for something quite and easy to get to while heading back to Az. Called on our way and the girl was so polite Got us a spot long enough so we didn’t have to unhook ! And what a view all around. Plus there is a glider airport adjacent to this place. Anyways we’d definitely stop here the next time passing through Oh, and it’s quiet, did I mention that! No tracks close by!!

Nice basic little campground. Very clean. They do need to work on getting the sites a little more level. Great airport next door and we enjoyed watching the planes and gliders.

This is a great over night stop or if you are visiting in the area. The staff is very friendly. Campground is clean. It is right next to a small airport but no planes at night, and only two while we were there. Water and electric at sight and a dump station by the office. The sight was big enough for my 35ft rig and truck. Very peaceful and conveniently located not far off Hwy 58 easy in and out. two major truck stops within a couple miles. Cost was $40 a night. We will stay again.

Superb. Previous reviews still true. Sites are ON the airport, so plane watching is great. It is quiet though. Tehachapi is a great small town, not defaced by graffiti and not having high crime. Go to the Red House bbq. It’s fried cauliflower is unbelievable. Really.

What a great place! We enjoyed watching an occasional glider plane taking off and landing . The restrooms and laundry area were super clean. We’ll be back!

What a great little park! Check in was easy really nice down to earth park, clean and near town next to small airport mainly used for gliders. Had breakfast at airport cafe, allow plenty of time to eat food ok. Only stayed one nite but next time will stay a little longer.

Nice little park. Super friendly staff. Easy check in. We stayed in January so we had some windy, cold conditions. Electric and water; dump station near restrooms which is a little tight to access for my 35’ TTrailer. Train museum in town and some descent restaurants. Very little traffic at the airport, so noise was not an issue. Train horns are heard in the distance. We’d stay here again.
