Very rude city dwelling campers that do not know anything about etiquette. Bathrooms not usable. Noisy construction. First and last time we will stay here.

Good location and friendly folks running the park. We came with a 40’ fifth wheel and opted for a premium pull-thru. Would’ve preferred a back-in as there is more room. Our site (173) was a small corner one with a sewer vent right out our front door.

Site was so small. If anyone was using the site across from me, my 20ft trailer would have never fit. Overcrowded, next to an airport. FHU, but that was the only good thing going.

We liked this campground because we felt like we were out in nature and not in a parking lot. The spots were tight for us as we travel in a 40 ft fifth-wheel. We were unable to get 50 amp spot but made 30 amps work for us. There is no free WiFi and AT&T service was bad.

Great family site. Lots to do, very friendly staff. Sites are close but arranged well.

They did not honor what they said when I made the reservation. They gave us a back in site instead of a pull through. Their power supply runs low voltage, which can ruin AC and other appliances. They know about it but don’t warn people who are making reservations or checking in. They clearly don’t care about their customers. We won’t be back.

Very nice campground. Under new mgt this year, still working out kinks. Surprisingly peaceful for being so busy during Independence Day week! Some neighbors a bit noisy, but staff was good about monitoring the camp & talking to noisy campers. Never turned the TV on - we were there for the camping and the adventures in Tahoe, not to watch satellite TV! There are bike trails right out of the campground, and plenty of great activities on the grounds, including a sand volleyball court, basketball, ping pong, swings, swimming pool, and kids rode their bikes throughout the camp all day long! Campground located just as you enter South Lake Tahoe, near the airport, but air traffic was not bad. Yeah, it’s a bit of a drive to the lake, but not everything can be walking distance. Cell service was slow, likely due to either the volume of people or the fact that it’s in the mountains with trees, but that’s to be expected. We pulled a 32’ overall length trailer, that was easily accomodated, even when we took a detour through other parts of the grounds. Overall, a great experience. We look forward to next year. Hopefully, the new staff will work out the kinks and I can rate 5 stars!

I am writing this review at12:10 a.m. because this campsite is so noisy. I also can’t sleep and I have nothing better to do than to write this review. If you like hearing kids at midnight then Tahoe Keys is the place is a great place to stay.

Stayed here for 2 weeks to visit our son; CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS CAMPGROUND.
PROS: FHU, have to request a 50 amp site. I made my reservation months in advance online, would not guarantee a site #, even after I called a week ahead to confirm. Arrived to a 30 amp site that was too tight, had to go back & complain to get moved to a 50 amp site.
If you like tall pine trees and an occasional bear, this is a good place for you.
CONS: No discount for extended stay = $54/night
Weak WiFi, could not log on most days. West AT&T signal, no Verizon. Tall trees = difficult DISH signal.
Terrible entrance, either of 3 possible choices, not well marked from Hwy. 50. Rough roads, partly paved, so many pine needles it was hard to tell road from not road. Poor signage for the interior roads to find your site, roads wind in and around all the trees, sites not well marked.
Dusty dirty sites, not paved at all.
Airport just behind campground, lots of helicopter and plane noise. Airport is used for military high-altitude training at times with heavy helicopter traffic.
Not many RV choices in South Lake; but I would rather not stay here again.

We used passport America and stayed for $30. I can't imagine paying full price for this place as the sites were pretty wacky and tight and most of the facilities were closed including the pool. They put us next to an ugly fence next to a storage lot. Fence had a huge hole in it and our neighbors warned that a bear came through it last night. We alerted the office and they didn't seem to care much and pooh-poohed us and said they have bears all the time and they're nothing to worry about and maintenance would fix the fence. Hole is still there as we are leaving...
This place could probably be great but it's just mediocre at best. Needs lots of tlc and upgrades. This place isn't very close to Lake Tahoe or anything if interest either. We won't be back.
