We loved this park. We found the sites spacious and clean and you are surrounded by huge pines. There is no dump station at the park but it does have water. We did not fill before navigating our travel trailer into our site so we ended up adding water from the nearby water spickets. We spend an afternoon in South Lake Tahoe and had a ball. Look for the gondola landing area where you will find all kinds of retail and great people watching. we bough tickets to the gondola ($53 each) and then decided to have lunch before heading up the mountain. There is a popular pizza place that had seating outside with some live music which was a great stop. After lunch we went up the mountain and found the views on Lake Tahoe to be amazing. Once at the top of the mountain, you can take a zip line down for $30 per person. We only stayed two nights and wish we would have been able to stay longer. I'm sure there is so much more to do in this area that we did not get too. It is on the list to return to this park and to the area next time we head west.

Very clean and well spaced sites. Lots of tall pine trees and short trail to Fallen Leaf lake. Near South Lake south Tahoe but far enough away from the crowds. Marginal cell reception

Great campground with mostly clean facilities. They are adding new bathrooms in some areas. Always a pleasant stay!
