Avoid!!!! Train runs every half an hour right next to sites There are two crossings so the train horns right next to campground. No shower, no hot water, restrooms under construction, dump at additional fee of 15$$.its a joke!!!

Needed a one night stay to visit Reagan Library, and Oak Park is close and a good price. RVers should know this park is isolated, dark, and frequented by the homeless and other questionable types. There is a "host" within the park itself, but you cannot get anyone on the phone from 5:00 Friday until Monday morning. We did not have a bad experience but did not unhook and pulled our RV to the Library rather than leave it there. Payment on Honor system. We were uncomfortable for the entire time there, and only stayed because we had cell service to call out if we needed help. Good for groups, not singles or a couple.

Great little place, and less than 5 miles from home! The grandkids wanted to go camping. With no reservations, we figured we'd give this place a try. So glad we did!! Everyone had fun! The train is close, and it's loud, but honestly, didn't notice it inside the motorhome at night. Clean, electric hookups, ability to pay online and inexpensive! We will be going back.

Never stayed here, but drove through to check it out. It is decent, subject to train noise occasionally. There are gates that are closed at night after 8 o'clock I think.
