We were disappointed in this spot, only because it has so much potential and it failed in many ways. The spot we stayed in was so close to our neighbor (the host), that we could here their kids running around inside their camper, from inside our camper. Also, the ants and the mosquitos were a nightmare. Tried to combat the ant as much as possible, but they would find another way in. They also have a leash rule for dogs which was obviously not enforced. Big dogs running around off leash with children in the area. Only thing this campground has going for it is the central location and the safety. Our son had the time of his life and made some new friends.

First time at this campground. Because of COVID, only every other space was occupied and the playgrounds were off limits. But quiet, peaceful, easy to drive to, and good wifi. Close enough to San Diego but you will need a vehicle or you can take an ride-share to the stadium trolley. Definitely recommend and I will be returning.

Clean, well-maintained, small park, only for military, immaculate bathhouse and laundry, sites surround a grassy field, which was watered during the daytime? Playgrounds for kids. Close to everything San Diego.

Enjoyed this RV park and the staff and guests we encountered. The park itself is a small part of a big military recreation complex dominated by a golf course. There芒鈧劉s also a California Army Guard facility adjacent. The RV park芒鈧劉s facilities and landscaping were all well maintained, and the spaces are a bit tight. A new fence between the RV park and the San Diego River is under construction as I tap out this review. Large signs direct you to the RV check in office, a bit of a walk, but we芒鈧劉ll marked. During our August 2018 stay the entire MWR complex was busy with golfers, group picnics, kids at the playground, and the pool area was packed 芒鈧 as was the enormous parking lot. Army guard troops were out and about and their morning PT runs looped through the RV Park. Overall an enjoyable, lively atmosphere. We enjoyed being a short drive away from the San Diego County Stadium (formerly Qualcomm) trolley station, free parking, and the $2.50 light rail ride to downtown. Experienced none of the negative issues a few other reviewers described. Had fun and we芒鈧劉ll be back.

Very nice park. Family oriented. Nice facilities for family fun. Beautiful weather right now, not to hot and not to cold. Would use again. A little over priced for retired military.

Not much has changed here. Extremely bad Military camp ground. New electrical pedestals. Voltage gets down to 115 with both ACs on. It is not the hot season yet. Office staff not trained in their duties. They just put up a rag tag 6 foot metal fence that an adult could push over. It is a real eye sore. Its not straight and has no top bar. There is no adult leadership at this camp ground.

Ok park, way overpriced in our opinion. Pool closed all year, had a bad run in with a VERY rude maintenance employee that made me uncomfortable and uncomfortable to have my children around. Homelessness is an issue everywhere but they walk into the park and ask for the shower/bathroom codes. Needs to be gated. I do like the way the RVs are set up, not particularly huge sites but they are all in a semi-circle with a nice grassy area in the middle with a playground in the middle.

One of the worst military campgrounds I have stayed. Showers and bathrooms and laundry facilities are not air conditioned. Non DOD come on to walk pets, go thru trash and use facility. None DOD people are allowed use of facility while DOD folks can't get in because facility is full. Sunday brunch is open to public. Not sure about the golf course. THE VOLTAGE IS BELOW 110 routinely. That is bad for Electical systems on motor homes.

Very nice site and very clean!
Very disappointing is the swimming facility because of the opening hours. Mon-tue closed, wed - fri 12-17 and at the weekends. Water slide closed to lack of personnel all day and no price reduce! Not recommendable for swimming or relaxing after the day trips to sea world or San Diego zoo because then the pool is CLOSED!!! Swim guide very unfriendly. Would go again if this would change.

Very nice facilities, well maintained. RV spaces down the row the camp host is on are very tight for large trailers and motorhomes. Just enough room for slides to extend but no extra space for awnings or outdoor seating next to your rig. Ample space to the rear in the park but privacy shades or blinds are a must. All spaces are back in except for two which are pull in/back out. Great area for kids and families and not bad for a couple of days as a base camp. We would return.
