Stayed here in our campervan while attending the Jazz Fest. We were in a non-hook-up site which was great for us. Overlooked turn 6. Porsches were getting ready for big race. Really nice staff at check-in. Our site was mostly level and a great view on the other side of our loop. Clean bathroom with flush toilets and free showers a little walk. Porta-potties were closer but would rather walk to the nicer bathroom. It was easy short drive into Monterey. Would definitely stay here when in the area.

Great views from the top. Really nice people at the gate. Site was easy to get into, clean. Signage could be clearer as to location of campsites v. the race track and gun range. For camping, turn right; don't go to gun range.
Short 16% grade to get to the top. Most of the time there are races going on. We just happened to stay while there wasn't one. We would certainly stay again.

Great place to stay in the Monterey/Carmel area. 140 sites, 102 with RV hook-ups. Some trees, views from top of the hill, very clean restrooms, pet friendly, 24 hr security. Could be barren and hot in summer or fall. Watch out when hiking for ticks!

We stayed here Labor Day weekend in our camper van. Site was near the ridge overlooking the valley. Beautiful! Across from the bathhouse. Showers were average and clean. Super nice staff, if there isn’t a race it’s not crowded at all! Salinas best kept secret!

Little pricey for a basic site. In the Can-Am section the sites were not real level or for some the angle made it interesting to park. 30 Amp power and non-potable water available at each site. Plenty of areas to walk, hike or biking, on the old Fort Ord grounds. It was close to Monterey and the bay so plenty to do (even more when COVID-19 is gone). We also got to watch a race! Just a little bit like boon docking so not for us. Friendly staff and after you hike up the hill clean facility.

Paid $35.00, adequate, it is the top of a large hill, not much shade.

If you can get a site at the top of the hill overlooking the valley you will be in heaven! Sweeping views, quiet. We stayed early May and didn't have any direct neighbors, had our pick of sites. We loved it so much we stayed for 9 nights. It's about 15 mins to Monterey. The sunsets over the valley, watching the birds, was just awesome! We would definitely come back, just make sure there aren't any events on the racetrack, unless that's your thing :) Incredibly steep hill coming it, kinda scary and a real fuel burner so make sure you have enough in your tank to withstand the climb.

6 miles from Monterey nice spot. Steep hill coming in 16 percent.

Campground is located at the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca road course and I stayed here for 3 days for a track event. The RV sites have 30amp power and water, great views of the surrounding countryside and moderate to chilly climate. The spots are not spacious, but many are somewhat private with lots of trees and bushes around.
