What a great KOA. From the time we entered the campground until we left it was great. Store was well stocked, great concrete pads, lighted walkways, game rooms and big gas fire rings. Did I say great gas fire rings? Met great couple from Canada sitting around the fire and shared travel adventures. You get what you pay for.

First impressions are always good and this park succeeds in that. We usually avoid KOAs due to quality and price but this was the best park in the area. The price is still KOA high. Check-in was quick and easy, and someone takes you to your site. The interior roads are paved and the sites are pretty level concrete. (We did see a few RVs with blocks or tires in the air.) There is decent spacing but no privacy. Lots of trees and nice landscaping with fountains. It is on the Sacramento River but I never found a way to get down to it. Crystal clear pool with attractive decking and comfortable seating. They even have areas you can reserve with privacy curtains. A huge gas fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs. There is a cool indoor area with leather furniture, a TV and a fireplace. The workout room is small and has the typical equipment. Peaked in at the bathrooms which appeared very clean. Now for the not so good. Obviously, it is right off I-5 so expect all the noise that goes with that. We were in the back so it may have been a bit quieter. There area also many trains and sirens. For some reason, Verizon coverage was in the twilight zone. Sometimes we had 4g 2/3 bars, and then we would have zero coverage. It even went out for hours one day. We didn芒鈧�鈩�t have much luck with the WII FI either. Even though it was pricey, we would stay again when passing through for a night.

I agree with all of the positives others have said芒鈧�鈥漷his is a beautiful RV park. The freeway noise didn芒鈧�鈩�t bother us at all芒鈧�鈥漧oved the pool and hot tub!

This place is super nice! When they say resort, that芒鈧�鈩�s kinda what it felt like. Just stopped in for the night on a rode trip and was not disappointed! Nice large pool, beautifully landscaped, basketball, bocce ball, putting green, rec rooms, fountains. Bathrooms and showers are really nice and clean. Very impressive. If I lived full time, this would be a great place to do so.

Right next to the Sacramento River. Beautiful property, big clean pool. Highly recommended.

Clean and neat park. A bit noisy due to proximity to interstate. Ask for a spot away from highway. Nice level concrete pads and easy hookups. Locker rooms/showers clean and spacious. Great spot for overnight stay when transiting I-5.

Very nice place. Clean and very well maintained. Close to freeway but we didn芒鈧�鈩�t think it was very noisy. I gave it 4 stars based on the person working at the front desk. She was not very friendly, didn芒鈧�鈩�t explain how to sign into WiFi, which wasn芒鈧�鈩�t clear. Usually at the parks we stay, the staff is super friendly and helpful. Would still stay here again.

On their website, they had sites available in both Fountain View as well as their regular sites. I called to book a site for the next night but the lady said they were full. I told her their website showed more than one opening and she confirmed, nope, all full. So we stayed in Orland instead at The Parkway RV and loved it... with the lower rate I saved enough to buy some beer and wine at The Parkway. The next day we drove past Durango on the freeway and it is so close to the noise I'm glad we did not stay there. Funny thing... their website later that night and the next day still showed availability.
