Forest setting next to the Hat Creek. RV spots 1 thru 12 are right next to the creek which is very nice. They are also right across from highway 89. While I was watching the creek I was also watching cars go by. Some traffic noise in the night, but I still managed to sleep okay. There are many spaces that are very unlevel so make sure you have a way to make adjustments to your rig, if that’s important to you. The grounds are extremely dusty, we had dirt everywhere in our RV. They make you pay extra for wi-fi, not good. Hookups were fine, no issues. Had to walk quite a ways to use the bathroom.

Came with 40’ fifth wheel. Very tight maneuvering and difficult to distinguish road from campsite. Would NEVER attempt parking here at night with large rig. Park map is of little use as it does not match layout of campsites. Was told route to our campsite and it put us in a position that would require a 120 degree back in...not going to work. Also found low lying cables and low water pressure. Nice people and good location but needs improvement.

It was an ok campground. No frills. Very dusty loose dirt all around. There were a ton of children everywhere.

They did not give us tent for troops on our one night stay there. We just got 10% off for being military.

they did not have a game room or club house. i could not find a lake. the showers had holes in the walls and mold. when we went to the deli to get some ice cream, the woman said just a minute, then she picked her nose, then she said what kind of cone do you want. we decided that we didn't want any ice cream after all. by the way all the deli food is microwaved. the best thing about the trip was the old guys driving around in the carts doing the work. (very nice guys) check your change when you buy something because they can't count. plan on getting dirty because there isn't any grass and they are not very dog friendly.
