Let芒鈧劉s begin by saying not a lot of places to pick from in this area. My husband and I wanted a campground in between Yosemite and Kings Canyon NPS so picked this area. We had a pull through for our 27芒鈧劉 5th wheel. If the campground would have been full it would have been hard to drive out of our site as you had to make an u-turn to get out. Person in office was very nice but told us trash cans were next to campsites but we never found one. Used the dumpsters on the road out of campsite for our trash. We are sell contained so never used the bathrooms.

No complaints, but nothing to write home about. We needed an overnight stop on the way to Yosemite and this fit the bill. Sites are a little close together, but level. We got along great with the very friendly gopher that was digging holes near our picnic table.

First - Lady in the office was very accommodating to us. We had planned a 2020 visit but with COVID we postponed. We travel in a 42ft with dolly tow - site was back in and close to trees and neighbors. We had adequate space and full hookup. Certainly not the best campground but not the worst. If we were traveling smaller, C, van or tent and you don芒鈧劉t mind the dust and heat of August.

Matt - April 2021: I have to say our experience here was a "4". That's because staff gave us two sites for the price of one due to social distancing COVID concerns. But I gave it a "3" since each site was rather small, nearly awning to awning. However, the amenities (e.g. bathrooms, laundry, etc.) were fine and staff and RV folks very friendly. WiFi is $8 a week but reliable.

Mobile home park up by the road, nightly RV rentals are down on the bank of the river. Surprisingly quiet at night despite being in town. River had a great swimming hole and when we went mid August so water was low enough for our big dogs to wade neck deep up and down the river to cool off. Pretty basic accommodation, but at 40 bucks a night with full hookups and cable just outside Yosemite, it芒鈧劉s worth it. Only cons: flies like you wouldn芒鈧劉t believe during the day by the river, and the heat. Even though it芒鈧劉s called 芒鈧揾igh Sierra芒鈧 you芒鈧劉re in the foothills at 3000 feet. Expect whatever the weather is in Fresno to be similar here. Our first day it was 108. Also, if you芒鈧劉re not familiar with Yosemite, this is 15 min south of the wawona entrance. That means a 90 minute drive down to the Yosemite valley visitor center and 2.5hrs to Tuolumne meadows. It worked timing our toddlers naps to the drive, but gets tiring after a couple days.

Great place! Some sites are not that nice but we got 39. Best site in the park. Right by the rapids. Close to the bathroom but not many people using it. Little getting in and out. We have 29芒鈧劉TT but we managed.

Nice people at the office. Clean restrooms and laundry area. Lulled to sleep by creek waterfall. WiFi was weak. Nice place.

It was nice to stay - owners amazing & helpful & accomadated us with a free night with military tents to troops!!! We were close to stream & volleyball sandbox - kids really liked!!! The employees are very honest - accidentally left my expensive surge protector on electric panel & was 15 miles down the road when I remembered. Employee noticed it & took it straight to office & owner called me - THANKS SO MUCH!!! Would recommend!!!!

I found the managers to be vary friendly and helpful. Grounds where neat and clean. All hook ups good. Common bathroom neat and clean. This RV Park is located vary close to grocery, auto parts, fast food and walking distance to movie theater. Nice small creek runs by and fun for kids to play in. Camping for RV and tents right on the banks. Also trail on creek leads to historical buildings park.
The location is great, vary close to Yosemite entrance. Parked and drove toad in for sight seeing and fun in just 30 min. Found lumber railroad on the way and went there next day.

Well 3.5 is more accurate but I'll give them the extra half. Only Complaints are.... Office seems to never be open. Kind of a running family joke after a week here. We stayed at space 27, which is last full hookup near creek. Well....took 3 lengths of pipe to get there it was so far away....and it was a foot off the ground!

WiFi seems to work once you figure out how to enter passwords. Very clean and certainly good for our big rig 40 ft. Our neighbors seemed to change every day, but we are at the entrance to an amazing park. 16-miles to the south gate....but closest full hook ups you will find. We would recommend staying here (or boon docking in the park for a day or two if you can). Get a spot on the creek if you can.
