This place looks so ghetto. My husband is pretty mellow about places but he couldn’t get out of there fast enough. There was previously a fire in one of the motel rooms that’s by the office that was boarded up. It just looked so sketch. We found another place. Not many options in Needles but came down the road to The Palms. Two starts because it is in the river. To be fair we didn’t explore the property but from the front it was super sketch.

We stayed hereApril 10-14,2021 in 22ft class B. We had a great space overlooking the river. Everyone here was very friendly. All of the facilities except bathrooms, laundry and showers were under construction. If we had a space besides #12, I am not sure how much we would have enjoyed it.

We love this little gem in the desert. Right on the Colorado River with free river access and boat launch. Clean showers, lots of spots for RV parking including site on the river for a beautiful view. Easy access from I-40 and great nightly rates. Large RV spots with room to stretch out. No 10yr rule and pets are welcome. They have a pool and spa also. Make sure to check it out if your anywhere close.

I stayed only for a one night stopover.
No problems getting there from I40.
Small, well-managed location.
Plenty of space in my site, and large bathrooms and laundry room.
My only complaint was the temperature in the bathroom/laundry room building. It was not air conditioned. With the outside temperature well above 100 degrees, the bathroom was sweltering. There was plenty of hot water - in fact the 'cold' water was hot. Even the hand soap at the sink was very warm to the touch. I don't know if the a/c was broken or if this place needs to be avoided in the summertime.
Aside from that temperature issue, I liked the charm of the place.

We have stayed here twice. Very nice hosts. Quiet. We were able to walk to a bar up the road to watch football. Good amenities. Reasonably priced. Plus they have grass for our cats! I recommend this place.

Very nice older, small, homey, place to camp directly on the river. Friendly helpful owner. Sites are gravel and close to being level. Several clean private bathrooms. Paid $15 using passport America. We camped in a 40 foot motorhome. We would come back here and spend more time.
