Great location, helpful staff, all around good EXCEPT the spaces are so close together. That was the only drawback here. The campers near us were very friendly, so not a huge issue. For the campground I’d give it 2 stars, and add 1 star for the location. Our pull through site was about $84 with tax which seemed high, BUT they were 100% full, so….

Good:
Very friendly and helpful young women working the front desk/store. Nice beach across from the camp ground. Decent wifi
Bad:
No cell service (but camp ground made up for it with wifi). Tight/small camp ground, difficult to navigate with larger rigs.

Beautiful location but the spaces are so close you think you are in storage we had to get into the neighbors space or our other neighbor would not be able to walk up their steps. You think everyone on this site is exaggerating until you go! I’m not sure if there is a lot of people hitting each other as they park. They do charge more than most and still have to cram everyone in like that? During Covid19? I’m not sure but it felt like we were at 150% capacity Never coming back too bad cause it’s very pretty

This could be a great park, location is great, they really try to put too many RVs into a gravel parking lot. My sewer connection was under the next doors picnic table. The RV on the others side had a slide out which made it impossible for us to use our shade. Fire pits were old tire rims. The park was quite after nine pm and bathrooms were clean. If they would charge more and take out every 3rd space giving people room they would up the the return rate. Sorry it was a beautiful location but not worth the return visit.

Sites are way too close together. Lovely location but it’s just a parking lot and a crowded, noisy one at that. is We did not enjoy staying here, will not come back.

The location is lovely, across from the beach and close to Mendocino. The receptionist was friendly and accommodating..had to change sites because of constant fires and smoke (the sites are close together). The wifi was very good, but no phone reception. The showers and rest rooms needed cleaning..and half were locked. Rating 3-4?

We stayed 4 nights in our RV. Our site had several piles of dog poop, the sites are way too close together and they advertise wifi, but there isn't any. They just keep saying too many people using it. I asked other campers and no one was able to get on. My adult daughter was attacked by 2 German Shepard dogs and was told that nothing could be done because no rules were broken. Dogs run loose all the time. Sites are not cleaned or raked after someone leaves. The showers had the water controls on the other side of the shower, have to run back and forth to get the temperature right and then your time is up, need to put in more money. The tent camping is beautiful, but beware of the tables, they are falling apart.

We just spent 3 nites at this great little campground/RV park with our 24' trailer. The locale is a+ if you want to feel off the beaten path. Just across the road is a small private beach - aaaahhh. Just down the road is pt. Cabrillo lighthouse - definitely worth a visit.
During our stay we spotted many migrating whales just off the coast.
The wi fi in the park was the best we've had. Everything was clean and we have no complaints - we'd definitely stay again! Good Sam discount applies.
