Nowhere to camp for the night except here. $30 to sleep in a parking lot next to a very ripe pit toilet. I car camp so múltiple times people tried to set up at the site I paid for in front of my car. Zero privacy. I’ve slept at rest stops before and preferred that. At least it’s free and you have clean restrooms. The beach was also very inaccessible as you have to balance on boards over water.

Had a great time. Clean restrooms and nice people. Set up tent 30' from parked motorcycle. Shared site with nice woman, and another fellow pulled up his small trailer at a nearby parking spot, and joined us at our table. We spent a great night talking about traveling and camping...and motorcycling. I will return.

Bathrooms were absolutely feral, don’t think they have ever been cleaned. It seems many locals use this as a carpark. One lady even came and changed her child’s diaper on our camp table right in front of us, all the other camp sites were free at that time so was pretty strange. Another group of young drunk guys were throwing their frisbee at our camper. 1 star because of proximity to the beach. Not worth $25 a night.

Wow! This place really just depends on your state of life! It was a wonderful stay many years ago when we were a young married couple in a tent on the beach! Now parents with 2 small children in a nice 32 ft RV we were scared away after one night! Many nice homeless people who wanted to talk and share their fire & beer. Level parking lot on the beach, lots of room for several RVs, layed back yet efficient park rangers checking in often. Definitely would NOT use the bathrooms! But each tent area gets a fire ring & table.

bathrooms are gross and can be smelt from 15 ft away. The camp site is a parking lot with some dead patches of grass with some sand on it, a picnic table and a fireplace. You can see highway 101 from the site. It is a 2 min walk to the beach tho. $15 per vehicle, $8 walkin or bike (there is no overnight parking nearby)
