Pretty good spot. It’s free, neighbors are 40+ yards away, vault toilets are clean. No water, but it’s close to mammoth, june, and mono. It’s right off the freeway so there’s some road noise at night, but it’s not bad. Great spot to crash for a night, or to call home base for a week as you explore the surrounding area.

Free! dry camp. Open til Oct 31 2017. About an hour from Yosemite, but a nice stop.
