Beautiful camp nested in a valley, half redwood forest and half private beach. The staff was amazingly helpful and gracious. Only two downfalls were the wifi where I was at (the repeater was bad and cell service with T-mobile was non-existent) and there's no septic hookups, but neither was a bother since they have a dump station and plenty of poop-wagons. I was very happy spending Thanksgiving with the family at Anchor Bay.

I had my doubts at the beginning pending some off comments we found before booking. However, they could not have been more wrong. Do not hesitate to stop here. We will be back and try to stay longer. Service was great, site was awesome -- just a few sites from the Pacific Ocean. It was during COVID so many of the amenities were not available but that did not slow us down one bit. Very clean and the hosts could not have been more considerate and professional. The sunsets alone are worth the drive (it's along one so give yourself lots of time).

Lovely campsite after you get past the 30 residents. Great beaches. NOT RV friendly as described if you come during a busy season. 1/2 the sites have hookups. Biggest concern is the male staff on premise. They won芒鈧�鈩�t let you come and go from the site into town during the evening. Had a near altercation with one such guy who complained that I left and came back. It reminded me of a 芒鈧�藴hall monitor芒鈧�鈩� when he became confrontational asking 芒鈧�艙Are you going to be in and out all day?!芒鈧�聺 I left twice that day and every time they replace cones behind you. Great location but super aggressive people drugged out working there. Be advised and take precautions if you decide to stay here.

Tight camping spots without a lot of privacy but the location and the staff make up for it!

Very friendly staff, small oceanfront valley location, unique place to stay, compact dirt and gravel, would come here again for the beachfront spots, but no hookups to those few.

Nice ocean view place. Would come back.
