We stayed 6 nights here while exploring Yosemite in August 2019. We stayed in #9, it was out in the open for our solar panels, close to the toilets and dumpsters.
This campground is very clean and well maintained! There was a bear that dug into the dumpsters and drug out a bunch of trash and within minutes the hosts already had it cleaned up by sun up! The hosts are very kind and welcoming, and always available to answer questions! We are full time RVers and have stayed at A LOT of campgrounds and I can honestly say they are the best camp hosts we’ve ever had!! We will definitely stay here any time we come to Yosemite!

Camped in spot one. Tree for some shade. Toilets were clean. I arrived at around 5pm and most sites were available. By 8 pm all full. Would stay here again. Heading in to Yosemite in the morning

Bare bones campsite. Use if you want to spend the day in Yosemie National Park and need a place to sleep outside the park. It's the closest State run campsite to the entrance of the park, off the 120.
We camped in spot #14 and were shaded in the morning. Nice, level pull in spot for an RV. We camped in Late June and saw lots of woodpeckers during the daytime.
Bathrooms are ok. The camp is close to the main road. Campsites are very open. No privacy.
