We camped Aug. 3rd -5th 2018. The drive down the mountain is steep and winding. Its about a 45 minute drive down Dirt road on side of cliff with zero barrier. Never ever attempt to bring a RV. I say this cuz the site mentions length of Rv's. Most sites actually tell you Lumsden camp, South fork and Lumsden bridge are NOT RV accessible. this road has tight corners and is narrow in areas. not to mention you may Pass a Bus that carries rafting boats and people from Casa Loma to the Boat launch that is a 3 minute walk from lumsden camp. the camp is beautiful. it's got some old fire damage but it's all coming back. the river is a walk down from camp. the bathrooms are clean.. I guess for only being a toilet with a huge hole in it. there's not water to wash hands or get drinking water. The rushing river water tasted better than my bottles water and here I am 3 days later and not sick.
