This is a nice facility in a beautiful, shaded setting. We stayed 2 nights on our way north to Oregon. The bath house is clean but not the most updated facility I've seen. They have tankless water heaters so hot water was abundant. We did laundry while there - $2 for washer & $1.50 for dryer The office/store has very limited supplies. Didn't have a lot of interaction with the staff but they were friendly enough. Since we have a motorhome without a tow vehicle, I was hoping there would be some old growth giant redwoods in the campground but there are only stumps from the giants that appear to have been cut down decades ago. Many have other trees growing out from them so their name is a little misleading. As beautiful as it is, there are no redwoods to ramble through in this campground. It's fairly isolated from any nearby markets or restaurants. We have e-bikes but there really isn't many places to ride to that doesn't involve riding on hwy 101. There is a quaint, very short trail in the park next to a small creek but Rambling Redwoods is not a great base to explore the area from without a separate vehicle.

Old couple in a truck camper. This is one of the most beautiful campgrounds - private or public - that we have ever seen in 40+ years of RVing. Two generations old, it has been well maintained without "clearcutting." As in all campgrounds, sites are close but you are shielded by a redwood forest. Huge trees and robust understory. The layout is highly eclectic, the services superb, the management friendly and helpful. Something for everyone: Full and partial hookups, dry camping, tenters. Nine repeaters insure fast wifi everywhere.

Beautiful and quiet. Loved our stay here except for iffy power. Had some serious voltage drops on 30 amp site. We will stay here again but only on 50 amp site.

We enjoyed staying here for four days, convenient for the touring we wanted to do. Large shady lots. Bathroom and laundry clean. Huge redwoods in the campgroung.

Stayed here for 2 nights last July, wish we could have stayed longer. Campgrounds were clean and well maintained, and staff was friendly and helpful. So much to do and see in the area, but this was a nice place to sit and relax too. Wife loved the heated floors in the bathrooms. Great place to stay in the Redwoods!
We stayed in a 25 ft travel trailer.

Very nice and accommodating people. The space was perfect for the size of my rv. Lots of beautiful trees, clean playground and showers rooms. Even at this time of year, the rain is frequent but the temp stays comfortable.

Great family friendly campground! Very shaded with redwoods all around. They only gave us one night free for tents for troops out of our two nights there.

We love this place. Big trees and friendly staff. They even had a dog wash! The camp sights are on the dirt and Verizon phone reception not good. Close to the State park and beach. Will stay there again. We camped in a travel trailer.
