This is a wonderful family campground in the redwoods. Many sites have good privacy due to the thick underbrush. Popular with families, this is a suitable campground for children of all ages. There are ranger-led programs in the evenings and good hikes both in the park and surrounding region. Friendly campground hosts make the rounds in a golf cart selling firewood in the evenings, delivering right to your campsite. Most sites are shady. Several sites have pull throughs but most are back-in. Small to medium sized RVs and trailers will be just fine.
Dry camping only, no hookups, and no mobile phone signal. This campground has a dump station and a water station for RVs.
