We stayed here and found the resort outrageously over priced. The sites are cramped on gravel and the access is very narrow for big rigs. The cost varies depending on their use of some corporate algorithm. The one upside of our experience was the staff was very friendly.

We came to Flying Flags with a Sprinter van, so didn’t need the giant pull-through spots. We thought the cheaper back- ins were the nicely manicured grassy concrete bases with flagstone patios and picnic tables. Turns out we were wrong. We paid $149 for a dirt slab with almost no grass and no table to eat on. From our point of view, it was a complete rip off.
We decided to eat at the little café near our spot, which was serving pub food and drinks outside, adhering to safe distancing during covid. They had a very smart system in place, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
When going to Flying Flags, I would advise folks when they register at the office, to see the spot in advance of reserving a place for the night.

This site had really modern facilities, pool, bathrooms, showers, club house, full hookups, and onsite restaurant. The facilities were clean and we used bathroom and showers the two nights we stayed. Very close to visit Solvang, Lake Cachuma, Vandenberg AFB, and Ventura county. We paid an outrageous $110, even with all our discounts. The sites were sandy gravel, spaces were really tight, the most packed in that we have ever stayed at and there were families everywhere that it was loud right up until quiet hours. We had to keep our rv closed up to keep the bonfire smells and smoke outside. The office was like a hotel resort checkin lobby, helpful staff and there were so many to help everyone. We were here in late October and I don't think we’ll return just because of the price and parking lot atmosphere.

Our best RV campground so far! It was very clean and well kept. They have a great pool and play area. We had so much fun playing Bocche ball at the play area. We stayed for 4 nights and time just flew by.

stayed 3 nights may 2018. this is the nicest RV resort we have stayed at to date. Friendliest and most helpfull staff. Amazing facilities, multiple pools, courtyards, fenced dog walk, beautifully landscaped. Oh and yes.....it is expensive, but worth every Penny. If you want cheap stay at a rest stop.

We are senior citizens who have travelled around the country in our truck and fifth wheel and stayed one Thursday night at the Flying Flags RV Park in Buellton. In a word, our experience was DREADFUL for several reasons. First and foremost, the $82.00 charge was outrageous. This is price gouging, is the most we have ever paid in our travels around the country and is almost as much as we'd pay at a dull-service motel. This park on the central coast of California is not in some resort area like the beach or Disneyland and there are no big attractions nearby. Secondly, at 7:30 on Friday morning the landscaping blowers started up and ran for at least an hour and a half. They were still going when we checked out around 9:00 AM.
Third, after we checked in, a Great Dane in the site next to us was so annoying we had to call management twice to get them to do anything. The next morning, the barking started up again and was still going when we checked out.
Fourth, the dog run was a tiny graveled area about 5' X 8' and was more like a cage than a "dog run".
In the future, we'll avoid Flying Flags as much as possible and will look for other Good Sam or KOA parks instead.

We were stopping for one night and did not really need any of their hook ups etc so we were backing into a space. The "helpful" guy who worked there said no no no...you need to have the power on the correct side of your coach. So follow me and I will guide you around and into the spot so your facing the right way no problem! Being trusting we followed. BIG mistake. The roads are WAY too narrow for a coach of our size (45feet) or even frankly my jeep hung off the edges. He took us around a short curve that even with the tag axel up we could never have made but we were stuck! Needless to say we hit the fence did major damage to our in take and rear end of our coach! I WILL NEVER go back here again! If I could give them less than1 star I would!

I really liked this campground. The facilities were clean and cleaned several times per day. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. I even needed a tool to tighten the mirror on my motorcycle and they obliged. The BBQ was very good on Friday night. I was traveling by motorcycle and they were no only accommodating, but inviting. I was camping in the field which is where the tents go. I had a pic nic table and there were outlet at the restrooms that i used to charge my phone and ipad. I stayed two nights and had a great time. At ten oclock the park gets quiet and you can actually sleep. There is lots to eat just outside of the camp ground and several gas stations. I was back on the 101 five minutes from the park. I will stay there again. Cant recommend this place enough.
Btw, they are building a diner on the grounds. I am sure it will be great.

We loved this place for clean facilities, great store, great staff, and a very family friendly atmosphere. The regular hook up spots are narrow as we had to move our rig a view times to make sure our awning did not hit our neighbors rig. The premium end spots are worth the extra coin if you ask us. We will go back soon to check out the new additions to the play and pool areas they were working on. Make sure you stay on the pool side of the park. It seemed as though the other side was the long term area. No offense to them but the cat smell was very obvious as we road our bikes through the area. Just request not to be in the long term area and you will be fine. 34 foot Class A
