We were pleasantly surprised by KOA Banning. This is a reasonably priced full service park about 20 miles west of Palm Springs off I 10. Easy access from the freeway. We had a nice view of the San Jacinto Mountains from the park. This could be a great spot for day trips to Palm Springs, Palm Canyon, Idylwild and Redlands. It has a pool and dog park. The people were friendly and the facilities were clean. We will be back.

Stayed last night. Pretty typical KOA. Nothing special for sure. We were assigned site 63. It was sloped so bad that it was impossible to level our motorhome. For cable tv to work you need a male adapter. WiFi is poor. Restrooms and showers were reasonably clean. Manager closed office about 4:45 pm even though it’s supposed to stay open until 5:00 pm. You’re probably just well off to stay in Walmart parking lot in Beaumont for free, it’s level.

It was surprisingly nice!
We needed a stopover and I’m not going to lie: the neighborhood your drive through to get here doesn’t inspire confidence. But once you get to the campground, it’s not bad! The sites are relatively close but hedges and greenery really help with privacy. Due to COVID we didn’t really have any contact with the staff and all amenities were closed (pool, etc). Which was fine - our neighbors were polite and kind. I was honestly surprised at how nice (and clean) this campground was.

This was a disappointing KOA. The pool was out of service when we checked in and we weren't informed when I called to reserve a site for the same night. The lady who checked me in said she didn't know why the pool was closed or when it would reopen. A bummer for 5 kids who had been in a car for 6 hours. She did say there was a game room, but we found out that it closed at 4:00 and we had checked in at 3:30. The bathrooms were operational and clean. Stayed one night in early August, 2016

In my opinion way overpriced for what you get! 50$ on weekends.
We did the after our registration, filling out a questionaire and so on. For the restroom code, which you need to enter, a phone number is provided for information. The number is not working. We had to ask around: One guy told me he has'nt got the code either because the told him the toilets would not work anyway. And yes: They were actually really not working, as well as showers. And by the way pretty messy.
Also Wifi and cable TV is currently not working regarding the information flyers.
Really disappointing!!
