We have repeatedly used this campground as our exit and re-entry point as we head out and return to California during our Southwest travels- we come down I5 and either travel over Tehachapi to take 58 through Barstow to hit I15 or I40 (as of 12/10/23 we are avoiding I40 as it is extremely rough at this time), or down I15 down Cajon to I10. Easy access from 58, nice arrival parking for check-in. Small but nice pool area, nice communal club area with a kitchenette. Very nice staff. Sites are reasonably roomy, good pedestals, sewer and water connections. Fairly level, only needed to toss one block down. The only reason I won鈥檛 give it five stars is the noise. This is completely beyond Orange Grove鈥檚 control (I don鈥檛 expect them to stand on the BNSF tracks with a 鈥渟top鈥 sign, though I鈥檓 sure everyone in the campground would appreciate it), but I have to mention it, as it can be quite loud- there are grade-level crossings where they have to blow their train horn, and east-bound trains are under heavy throttle as they head up Tehachapie (if you have some spare time, check out the Tehachapie Loop, where the trains circle around and cross over themselves as they climb up the grade). Orange Grove is a very nice stop, clean and well kept, but a bit noisy. We will stay there again, but we will bring earplugs.

Very clean and well maintained . Nicest bathrooms and showers we芒鈧劉ve seen on the road. Large RV spots and convenient off the highway . Would highly recommended .

I've over-nighted at this park a few times in the past six months. It is a clean, well run park. The sites are level and not too crowded. I've not used the bathrooms or showers. There is a lot of traffic noise: busy roadway, highway and trains. Bonus is the scent of orange blossoms (although not if you are allergic, I suppose).

Just an awesome park, great friendly staff, everything was clean and maintained. If we ever go through California again this will be one of our stops!

This place is amazing. SUPER clean, the staff is amazing, easy on/off the freeway, did I mention clean!! The only drawback is the freeway noise and it芒鈧劉s really only an issue if you芒鈧劉re a light sleeper or want to sit outside and the easy solution is to park with your trailer facing East. Spaces are wide and easy to pull in/out. Will definitely stay here again.

Called same day and there was plenty of open spaces. We checked in after hours by picking a space # provided on envelopes hanging near the office. Checked out before the office opened so we simply filled out information on paperwork provided and dropped it in the mail slot at the office. The place was quite and clean. There is traffic and train noise but it didn芒鈧劉t bother us once we fell asleep.

Traveling from here to there? I think this a great stop. Close to Bakersfield yet still has a feel of being remote. This park sits right in the middle of an orange grove and the oranges are free for the picking. Im not usually an orange guy, but these fresh oranges are to die for. There is a bit of road noise, but is not overwhelming. Well worth a stop.

Did not like this park. Road noise VERY bad.... Train noise not much better. Large park with paved roads, but all gravel
Or dirt sites. More dirt than gravel...basically a parking lot with hook ups and orange trees. NO grass Do not understand all the five star ratings
Maybe for the area. I would not stay here again. Many Walmarts would be better... we stayed in March 2020 in a 40 foot class A

Oh my what a beautiful site, right in an orange grove. You can pick your morning orange juice right in your space. Excellent friendly staff, clean bright washrooms, showers and laundry facilities. Was only going to stay one night but decided on two. Very easy access off Hwy 58, so you can hear traffic, but didn芒鈧劉t bother us. Would definitely stay here again. Plus...free coffee and donuts in the morning!
