Tried to check in, but the staff member told us they were on lunch break and you can’t actually enter the campground without registering. Waited for 30 minutes like she recommended and when we went back to the kiosk they had left to do their walking rounds, even though she knew we were waiting to register. Waited another 20 min and left for Alice Lake PP - a much nicer park with better sites and amazingly friendly staff.

I would like to know why at this park there is a charge for $37 a night without power and a seven dollar a night charge for power. However there are no sites where power is not available, so you have to pay for power whether you want it or not.
Besides the fire wood smoke, I smell a cash grab.
