This is one of the best rest stops by far! We have a larger dog and the loop at independence rock was just what we all needed. A bit of walking, learning about the Oregon trail and breathing the fresh air. How can you beat that? Parking was ample, and the restrooms were top notch.

Many rigs stayed overnight anyway
