It is advised that they have water at the sites but don’t mention that the water is under a boil order. We can’t connect to the water without contaminating our water system in the motor home. They only have 15 amp power, we can’t recommend this camp site and won’t come back. We also found out from the local health department that this place has been on a boil order forever.

We were moved to a different site than we booked upon calling to reserve, without any notice! Then accepting the changed site, the first night was quiet. Then second night a camper put their unit facing ours. We explained we wanted privacy. They said they we’re getting friends in our spot in the morning and wanted their awnings together. We did not enjoy their three dogs barking at us, or having them face us for the day! We complained to the office, and their response was they couldn’t do anything about that. I will never go back when your site isn’t a choice or your privacy! The park was a place we have enjoyed because of the lawn sites, beach and shower house. Now they say it has wifi, but that is if you go outside their park. No cellphone service either. Not happy with our two night stay.

Pros:
- Friendly, accommodating Check-in
- Only 15 minutes from Ainsworth Hot Springs
- Quiet, dark
- roomy, flat sites in lovely treed area
- Nice swimming beach
Cons:
- Unfortunate "water boiling advisory" when we were there
- Only 15 amp service, so had to be careful not to use more than one appliance at a time
- No sewer hook-up......dump on way out
- Wifi only next office, none at site
Notes:
OK for a overnighter. Looks like would be great for families in the summer

This is one of the best campgrounds you can find in the area. Sites of all sizes, full hookup and no service too. There is a lovely lake to spend the day swimming and fishing. The staff is just awesome, they have treated us incredible. I strongly recommend this campground.
