Very nice municipal campground. Probably not for big rigs or people looking for electricity, water, sewer, WIFI, and cable. Rather potable water at one place, pit toilets (clean and well maintained), and spotty cell reception (lots of old tall trees). But beautiful location and walkable access to shopping and restaurants (if 2 or 3 kilometres is walkable for you). Lots of great walking and cycling trails on the island. Great ocean views and close (walkable) from the ferry. We were in site 1 which was very private but quite dark (lots of trees, which is why it is so private). Other sites closer to the ocean should probably be booked early. Lots of good tenting sites.
