We spent 3 nights here which was ok, but we noticed poison ivy all around our site and sure enough; our dog smelled some on her last pee break before bed and was up all night whining and scratching at her poor face. We tried to find Benadryl in the middle of the night - but everything open between here and Nanaimo didn’t have any. Apparently poison ivy is everywhere around here so definitely watch what your pets smell and where your bare feet are walking.

POORLY MANAGED!
This used to be a great place to take the family. The new management has caused a lot of issues. The sites and grounds are not being cared for well. Reservations are a mess! As a group we have been going here for over 12 years. Because of a tremendous booking snafu on their part this year our reservation has been unceremoniously cancelled by the management! They don’t care how they are running this place because they know that camping is at a premium and they will still be able to fill sites.
