Lotsa trees that give welcome shade. Private bathrooms (especially those by the office) feel just like home. We found the 2 geocaches. Landscaping has been carefully done with large red rocks everywhere. The onsite store is well stocked. The camp is right near the entrance to the meteor crater. We paid $28 with GS discount.

Very nice park and just off from I40 @ exit 233. Reasonably priced ($$$) not $$$$ and well constructed with shade for picnic table. Great place for a little downtime when travel pace is high.

Simple RV park, great for overnight or a few days of quiet. We stayed 3 days and just enjoyed the quiet. There is a fairly well stocked store, fuel and propane. The crater is just a few miles down the road. There are also geocashing sites within walking distance if the park. We will stop again when in the area. Wifi good.

Clean park. Friendly crew. Two dog parks. Private bathroom and showers both very clean. Internet was a little touch and go as we had trouble stating connected. Down the road from the crater and central to other good day trips. Not traveling with kids but looks like little entertainment for them if you are.
