Great desert type site. Good water and electricity. Very friendly and informative camp host. Within a couple miles of ancient sites that are very well preserved by park

Nice place to over night or stay a day if you are traveling I40. The ranger was so helpful I felt guilty. Water was turned off at the sites so I deducted a star.

Great park, cool ruins, private showers. Not the most beautiful scenery but great for a stop over location.

We have stayed in many campgrounds along Route 66, some of which I would highly discourage and a few I would guardedly recommend. However, campsite 20 had 50amp, water, even a complimentary grill scraper with a fab view. The park is laid out so that all have a view (not of each other). It's 09/27/14 and there are only a handful of RV, contributing to a quiet, relaxed visit (check out at 2p, which helped as well). I'd say from AZ to FL, it has been my favorite state park. They even have guided tours! Kudos to Homolovi.

Very nicely laid out CG with large, well spaced, level paved sites. W & E, and we even lucked onto the one site with Sewer (#39). Clean restrooms & showers. Desert environment, with trees among the sites. Good value @ $25.
